P&C Canteen Crisis
Due to the canteen running at a substantial loss, the P&C have had to make the hard decision to close our school canteen.
We understand that the canteen is a fantastic service to many and do not want our students missing out entirely, so we have decided to run the canteen on a volunteer basis with a restricted menu for four days next term (Term 4, 2018).
THIS WILL REQUIRE HELP FROM ALL PARENTS IN SOME WAY.
The dates the canteen will be open are:
- 19th October, 2018
- 2nd November, 2018
- 16th November, 2018 (Athletics Carnival day)
- 30th November, 2018
Can you volunteer for a few hours during one of these days to help prepare food and serve? (The more help the fewer hours individuals are needed).
I you are unable to volunter due to work commitments we need you to go on a cake, slice or muffin (sweet and savoury) roster to supply for morning teas. Again, the more people volunteering for this, the less frequent individuals need to do it.

This is strictly a trial run to help get the canteen back from debt and give our students the opportunity to still have the privilege of a canteen.
If you are not happy with this decision or would like to support and be involved in future P&C decisions, our next P&C meeting is on Wednesday 17th of October, 2018 at 5.00pm at Bridgetown High School. Everyone welcome!
